Tanzania National Assembly endorsed the Petroleum Bill 2015.

On July 5th, 2015, the Tanzania National Assembly endorsed the Petroleum Bill 2015.

The Gazette of the United Republic of Tanzania No. 22 Vol. 96 presented bill for the Petroleum Act, 2015 on May 29th , 2015. The Act puts forward the Establishment of PURA (Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority). In the same volume, Bill for the Tanzania Extractive Industries (Transparency and Accountability) Act, 2015 is presented the Act officially lays forward the recognition on establishment of TEITI (Tanzania Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative)

The Bill for the Oil and Gas Revenues Management Act, 2015 puts forward the Establishment and management of the Oil and Gas Fund, to provide for the framework for fiscal rules and management of oil and gas revenues and to provide for other related matters. For details got to ;

The second and third readings of the triple bills related to the petro have been discussed since 3rd July, 2015.
